Notice: vBulletin Forum Software Upgrade

Later this evening (May 6), I'll be upgrading our vBulletin forums to the latest version - 3.7. This may be cause for slightly longer downtime than usual as there are more features and fixes present in this upgrade. I'll explain the changes and new features when we're live again.

In IE Alex, on the user profile page, it comes up with a lot of like image missing boxes, with red crosses in them. Its fine in FF, but mike sick mentioned his IE was like it, so I checked mine and mine also has the image missing box thingys.

The images (little arrows etc) they show up fine now.

The features of your profile you want to edit can now be done on the actual view profile page, rather than linking from your user control panel.

Oh yeah, because it looks like the "Edit Profile" option is now gone, but they left the space for it.

I meant how you can edit it by like using a background image and changing the font and whatnot. On that link, it says the Admins can turn the feature off. I was wondering if it's turned off or not.

Although you can edit stuff from the profile page now, you can still access these options by going through this link.

I was too. I was thinking the administrators sent me a warning for something I did wrong or got a temp ban. I went:

Small enquiry: How does one go about creating a group? I've been on all the pages fro groups and looked at the options on them, and there isn't a create group area...

Quick Links - Social Groups, and then you should see an option to create one, it is at the bottom of the page.

I closed the board earlier to upgrade vBulletin. The updates are mainly security fixes and admin control related. There are some minor kinks here that I'm trying to fix caused by inconsistency between 3.6.* and 3.7.* versions of vBulletin (such as the "Member Search" no longer working in the top navigation bar).

The User CP side navigation has now been fixed and now has several more options available.

I just noticed that Sticky threads are separated by a header. Also, check this out when you attach a picture. Some fancy java going on I assume.

yeah I noticed the attached pictures the other night in the Evan Rachel Wood thread, I think its really cool.

All the upgrades with vBulletin are positive and I'm glad about the fix on the Search feature: I was missing that.

A few days ago I saw the name of the first Phant user who happen to visit my profile. Now all I can see is that I had six visitors but I've got no clue who they were.

Am I the only one having this problem? And is there something I can do to fix it?

I think if they are invisible you can't see if they have been to your page.

Well this certainly explains why I don't see any of the visitors' names. Silly me, I should've thought of that!
