OK, now im pissed off, i bought my tickets in pre sale, and like any other show at thebby i thought seat tickets dont count and you could sit were you wanted, so i bought tickets, but now i get told with Manson they will make people sit if you have those type tickets. So now im fucked, i have unreal seating tickets, 2nd row dead on middle but i REALLY want GA tickets, so can everyone that is goin please keep an ear out for people wanting seating tix for swap for GA ones. I would also just buy GA tickets and sell mine later....

CRAP!!! I've got seated tix aswell. When I was booking them in the presale they only gave me seating as an option so I called them and they said to just take seated tickets and go to the front if I feel like it.

Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not going to be able to be a part of the Adelaide-day-long-Manson-stalkathon

I was planning on flying down from Sydney to Adelaide on the 10th and spend the day scouring the city with a few of you trying to meet Manson and the band but I've got a meeting at 1pm on the 11th of October and I won't be flying out until after that and probably won't be arriving in Adelaide until around 5-6pm, so I'm pretty much having to dump my luggage at my parents house and get straight to The Thebby.

If you guys are having a drink or something either before or after the concert somewhere, let me know, I'm still in for that (assuming I have time before the show)

Good luck to you who do go ahead with the stalking, make sure you post pics for us all to see.

The band came in on QANTAS flight 665 (one number off, eh?) from Brisbane last night at 8.50. Manson arrived with ERW in tow. They walked up the entrance walkway and then stood about halfway down there for about 5 minutes. Looked like he was waiting to meet up with the rest of the band guys but he could have also been waiting for his minders. Was he the only member in first class?? I was wondering what the passengers must have been thinking as they all filed past him after disembarking.
Finally he and two minders (one looked more like an assistant), with the rest of the guys following walked the rest of the way into the terminal section. The bigger minder of the two approached the small group that was waiting and made them move out of the immediate exit area and said not to take any photos (which everyone respected). It all happened very fast so I only has time to Ginger hurrying quickly by at this stage...didn't see any of the other guy walk by. I asked him to sign something but he said he was in a hurry, and the pace he was walking it certainly looked that way. Manson stood around and signed stuff for everyone that was waiting there (including me), before walking off. He was very cool, if not slightly mellow. Wondered afterwards if news of the shooting in Ohio had filtered thru to him??
Anyway, I looked up ahead and he must have ducked into the toilets as his minders were standing around outside waiting for him. I could still see Ginger up ahead in the distance so, as fast as he was walking (quite funny actually) I followed him. Someone beckoned him towards the exit doors where the Tarago vans were waiting outside. I kept calling out to him but he didn't want to stop. As I exited the building towards the vans, Skold was standing outside having a cigarette. He started smiling as I walked towards him, and I don't know what he thought, as I was dressed pretty casually, but he said to me "I'm smoking in a non-smoking area" still grinning from ear to ear. I said noone was going to hassle him and asked him to sign for me, shook his hand and said good luck for the gig. We'd moved to the back of the van at this stage and his was going to be the same ride as Gingers. I finally manage to hand the CD cover into Ginger and he seemed more relaxed now and happily signed it. the rest of the band were in the van ahead, but as I got all the sig's I wanted from what I considered the more long term members I was pretty happy. Their door was closed anyway so I didn't really want to knock on the window! Plus I really didn't have anything with a pic of those 2 guys on it!!
All in all though a very pleasing and worthwhile journey to the airport!

Just got home from the concert!! holy fucking god! i am fucked - need a shower drenched from sweat! He played Tourniquet at ours to... FUCKING great set list.. my brains a ringing so i cant think of the whole thing - think it was the same as Bris... He played no. 99 from ACSS was that at every show or only a recent thing??

At least 5 girls were taken over the rail from passing out and that was b4 the show started... after that it was one after the other after the other...

I was at the front in the middle for the 1st half you should have seen the steam coming from us all.... after a while i just didn't have the strength to stay there... tonight was fucking insane!!! Podium and all... shower time... my cracks all sweaty... even to much for you comawhite15

Just got back from the show, and am tired as all fuck and will just give basics now(and details later).

People were lining up in the cold from 7am, I got there around 5ish, waited in line for about 2 hours, met some phants, took group pics with said phants, didn't hate Spazzys as much as I thought I would this time (a large part of the crowd actually cheered them after most songs, although the standard abuse was hurled at them also), setlist was pretty much exactly as Dev_ill666 listed, I lasted in the mosh until the Fight Song at which point I felt really dehydrated and left to get water, recorded videos for PHIH and HSG on video camera (which I was surprised I was able to sneak in so easily) and ACSS and TBP on my phone, after show met up with phants again for another group shot, tried to get backstage but found security have wised up at the Thebby and my usual foolproof way of getting to meet artists after a concert is now null and void, made way to back area via a different route, saw Manson leaving in a car, found out Skold had already left, hung around and asked Ginger for a photo when he exited (was completely ignored by Ginger), saw Chris leave and head straight into waiting van, Rob came over and said hello, took pic with Rob, other phants were given guitar picks by Rob, came home and wrote this.

I'm aware I just wrote a very long sentence, I'm tired and I don't care enough to use a full stop, or period as the americans call it, right now.

Will upload the videos I shot tomorrow, although I'm not sure of the quality yet, because I haven't reviewed them.

k just got home then, had a fucken unbelievable night, way better than melbs, he loved Adelaide, he was so into the show. unreal set list and i got barracade again infront of ginger. meet rob after and got a pick, ginger snobbed us haha :P was spewing but hey the show was the best, would post a bigger review but my night ended fucked, my liln bros car got stolen from near thebby and we had no were to stay and all mine and my gf's keys were in it so yeah great finish to a perfect night.

SHOCK rocker Marilyn Manson kept fans waiting at Thebarton Theatre last night but the sell out crowd's anticipation only grew during the half-hour delay.

With the smoke machine pumping a thick layer of fog into the auditorium before Manson's arrival onstage, the red lighting when the rocker finally appeared, made for a very dramatic entrance.

Manson's band looked like extras from an art-house horror movie and played a hypnotic blend of metal, electronica and goth-rock thick with pop hooks.

Costume changes were the order of the day as Manson's theatrical side was put on show, at one point the singer appeared as a boxer, another a menacing dictator, but there were moments when even Manson's supersized personality was almost overshadowed by the dazzling light show.

Though Manson is one of the most controversial artists currently skirting the edges of the rock'n'roll mainstream, his impact has diminished in recent years as a younger crop of musicians such as The Used and My Chemical Romance have made wearing make-up and black clothes more popular with younger music fans.

But touches such as his dagger shaped microphone and the way the singer writhed around at the front of the stage, at one point pulling up a female fan to share the microphone, showed the singer is still the leader of the Black Parade.

Manson played songs from throughout his 18 year career. Songs such as Mobscene and Disposable Teens delighted the crowd, while Manson invited fans to shout "We hate love, we love hate."

Early hits Dope Show, God is in the TV, and The Beautiful People came late in the set and gave the fans plenty to cheer about.

The show was amazing!!! I was up the front center of the mosh the whole time... If anyone saw me i was the girl wearing thigh high red and black socks, my friend was the one that tripped over the bricks in the que. It was my first mosh experience and it made for a great one! I took some pics but there are a lot of arms and smoke in the way so you can't see too much... I also uploaded some videos on youtube, again not very good quality, the videos sound awful.

Hey guys!

So my wife and I hit Thebarton Theatre lastnight.. it was so great. We've been to many Manson shows but lastnight was really one of the top ones for sure.. Manson really enjoyed himself and it was a rather intimate venue. Evan Rachel Wood was on stage behind him to the side watching him the whole time, it was fantastic. During Heart Shaped Glasses, she put her glasses on! Manson had a pair on too during the song beginning that a lucky fan was pleased to catch after he tossed it into the audience. We went into stalk mode after the show after finding out Manson was going to be hanging out in the Hyatt hotel bar. So my wife and I raced home to change (Hyatt has a dress code) and when we got back to the Hyatt bar around 12:30, they said they were closing so that was unfortunate. I think they stay open longer in bigger cities which is why Manson's helper guy thought they'd be doing that. Then I heard he might be going to the Crown and Anchor instead so we hit that too but seem to have missed him if he was there or hadn't been there yet (doesn't really seem like his kind of place anyway). So we hung out at the Adelaide Skycity Casion next to his hotel until about 1:30 but decided to go home. For all we know, he could have been in his hotel room with Evan watching 'Parent Trap'. Not sure.. but it was fun none the less. I met him a few times before and I was pretty close to the front anyway and I won the bid for the gigantic promotion poster! ($150). I got some ok quality video clips of the show but it doesn't have sound (sorry!) I can upload those if you guys want...

I didn't get to meet any of you, I got to Thebby about halfway through the spazzys set but hung around the bar until about 9, then went in. Didn't see the message sent to me giving me a number to call as I'd already left from Whyalla to Adelaide, got home a couple of hours ago.
Did everyone buy merchandise? I spent $135 which is heaps for me but I couldn't help myself.
Wasnt' it just awesome! That's the third time I've seen him and definately the best! I was surprised by how much stuff he played from other albums, I thought it'd mainly be emdm.

Come to think of it - was it a Phant that came up to me at the Casino and we talked about where Manson might have been going after the show?

I just got back home to melbourne. The show was beyond amazing. I wont babble on too much. A few highlights for me were the burning bible during ACSS and tourniquet. Those were the 2 things melb. missed out on. At one point Manson began singing happiness is a warm gun by the beatles. For a second there I got my hopes up thinking he'd sing the whole thing. One lucky girl got pulled up by Manson and he held the mic up to her, but instead of singing she screamed like a lunatic (which is possibly what I would have done).
It was great catching up with a few phants before and after the show. Where are the group photos at? Afterwards we waited around the back area and got to meet Rob. He gave me a guitar pick. As already mentioned, Ginger totally snobbed us off hehe.
I recorded 3/4 of Tourniquet. I'll put that on youtube soon.
I now have post Manson depression. It's all over :( I guess I'll sit and wait patiently for the next album and tour

Yeah that mosh was rough, I'm not usually one to fight in a mosh pit (even though you know I totally could if I wanted to), but I remember getting pretty aggressive with a few people. There was one dickhead who decided the easiest way to get past me was to put both hands on my right shoulder and attempt to push my as hard as he could to the left.

It's one thing for me to freight train and bulldoze people out of my way to get us to the front of the pit (which incidentally got a whole lot of people joining our 'conga line' so they could get further up front too), but it's completely unacceptable when they attempt to fight back. :P

i dont really think it was that rough, i thouhgt it was going to be so brutal but it was a lot less crazy than i expected, i think everyone was just like 'omgitsmansonmustkilleveryoneinmywayandgettothefro nt' but ive definitly been in more violent pits than that and ive pretty much only been to taste of chaos a few times and afi lol
