just got back from the show. My boyfriend taped it all with a video camera.
the setlist was the same as always, only shorter - he ended after beautiful people.
he made a little mix up in the lyrics 2 times but the show was good. We'll put something on youtube tomorrow.

It was a trashed short performance. I think it was short because it was so trashed.. Nothing worked. It was not the Manson I knew and loved..

Yeah, a lot of things went wrong.

The curtain "thingy" at the beginning fall too soon, this was a little bit strange. So Manson was standing still with his "knife-mic" doing nothing for about 1 minute. Later on, the mic didn't work several times and Manson seemed to be very pissed and talked to a person on the side of the stage for several times. Oh yeah, and somebody told Manson during the concert, that Vienna is NOT Nickelsdorf. So he replaced it with just "Austria" .... this was kind of funny ;)

In addition, the crowd was really lame as I could see and I was in front rows. There are several songs, you can't really freak out, for instance "Putting Holes In Happiness". But during "Disposable Teens", since ever I was at a Manson concert, there were some kind of moshpits during this song. This time, absolutely nothing.

It don't affects the performance at the end! They sucked! - In Flames for example was fucking awesome or other bands that played longer and much better..

but manson wasnt that bad...it wasnt shorter than any other show, only "the nobodies" was missing.
tim was great for example, on my video you can see him play the PHIH and JACCA solos very well.

pf - Did you noticed that Manson always pointed his finger on the member that played a mistake? I noticed all the mistakes - I noticed more than 13 mistakes at this concert (musically).. The show was trashed too but I don't care about it this time, because that was the problem of the Stageworkers..

Other Bands played extra songs or change the setlist for every concert or talk with the crowd and don't called "us" motherfuckers... Manson does'nt care about that because he's to important! This Tour shows me only one thing - Money, Money, Money!

Jesus, you certainly have a lot to bitch about. Like everyone said, it's a damn festival - it's going to be rough. And once again, they're still getting into the swing of things - new members, new instruments. There are going to be mistakes.

As for Skold's guitar - calm down. He's going to change things if he wants to. He's not John 5 and he's sure as hell not Mark. So... he's not going to play like them. If he wants to change the pedals or distortion, he's going to. And I know what you're talking about, it's not even that much of a distortion, it sounds fine. You're just looking for things to complain about.

If you can't deal with mistakes & change in sound, maybe you shouldn't be going to Manson concerts. It's going to happen. Suck it up.
