His performance would've been great if the sound system would work. Somehow the PA system stopped during IHA, TFS and BP, so they only had the stage speakers, the big ones were out. That made them not play GBWW and JACCA which was a shame...

The setlist was the same except that they didn't play those songs. The crowd was split in a sort of cross-like manner and Manson walked through the center during IHA and TBP...I could almost touch him, that was great. He was really into this.

Tainted Love was surprinsingly the best song live, greatly played from the start to the end, especially by Ginger.

Oh, he kept screaming "Deutschland" when he should've screamed Belgium, lol. But he noticed it after 5 times and said thank you Belgium.

Overall the performance was great and it was a shame to see the band having their show ruined by the sound system. They didn't even notice it until Manson came onto the audience during BP and lost the words because he couldn't hear himself.

I don't think that Rock Werchter is going to be voted the best festival in the world this year.

It was great, even though they had problems with the sound (Manson was clearly not amused about this); there was also an incident on-stage after the second song whereafter Manson and the new bass player disappeared for a few minutes but no idea what that was about.

I recorded the show with my mp3 player but the quality is very, VERY shitty. I can post IHA or BP for you to hear the problem with the sound and the "Deutschland" thing.

I can only do that probably next week and somebody has to tell me how to split a whole file of music into different pieces.

My friend is at Werchter and texted after seeing Manson play. She said they could hardly hear anything and some people started booing. At the end huge confetti canon things went off, but by that time the audience were starting to disperse. Poor Manson... :(

I'm not sure about the mic thing, he did have problems with it too, but the main sound problems were not the band's responsability, they didn't even notice because the stage sound was correct. Only, the overall sound, the big speakers so to say, were out. And it was a shame that it happened only to MM. Maybe Gerard from MCR payed someone to fuck the sound up after their show :)

It seems the overall response, except for the sound, was good. Starting Monday they give a Werchter Report on a music channel here, I'll see if and when they play Manson and try to record it.

It was nice to see a real band take the stage after the horror that was my chemical romance. Mansons singing was pretty spot on for most songs, he did start to lose his voice half-way the show and then the sound went fucked near the end. Over-all it was good to see Manson live again but the setlist was far too short and obvious.

I started recording the show from the beginning but it was far too rough since I was standing by some retarded moshpit circle. So I had to quit.

I have a few songs but nothing ground breakingly new or great I guess.
