Scandalous rock performer Marilyn Manson will arrive for his concert in Bulgaria on July 4 accompanied by a 40-member team of pyro effects technicians, personal designers and make-up artists.

Manson's band includes the drummer Ginger Fish, keyboard performer Chris Vrenna, bassist Rob Holiday and one of the most significant figures in the band, guitarist and second bassist Tim Skold. Skold is Manson’s new album producer and co-author.

The scene will be 40m long and 20m wide and will be put two m above the ground, avtora.com reported.

The scene will be equipped with a huge 10m video-wall weighing 250kg.

Eight 35kg bottles containing carbon dioxide will be put on a special place in front of the scene to be used for the pyro effects.

The show will start at 7pm. Bulgarian industrial group Alien Industry will warm-up the audience.

A few minutes ago I was told that Manson is already in Bulgaria, he's going to stay here 'till the 5th of July. Tommorow, after the show, selected fans will have the opportunity to meet him face to face. A friend of mine, an exgirlfriend to be exact, told me that she'll most definitely meet Manson (she has connections, LOL). What a lucky bitch. I'll try to be there also, but it's not certain yet if I can arrange that. Anyway, expect some pics soon, I guess.

They didn't allowed taking pictures, but we had brief chat with Manson and he gave us an autograph. I met also Peter Steele. Later we went to the after-party in a Sofia night club. An hour later Rob Holiday, Chris Vrenna & Ginger Fish came. We drank together and talked. The are cool. Manson came also, 2-3 hours after them, but he was surrounded with guards all the time... It was fun - having a drink next to Marilyn. Great evening/night.

It wouldn't surprise me if they are the only lyrics he can remember. I recall reading or seeing an interview with David Bowie where he said he screwed up the lyrics to a lot of songs live because of the coke damage to his brain. However, unlike Manson, he had the dedication and professionalism to relearn them so he didn't end up just playing the "hits".

Manson's gig at 'Akademik Stadium' was amazing in my opinion. Maybe it's 'just another Marilyn Manson gig' for most of you, guys, but yesterday was his first concert in Bulgaria and he made a lot of people's dreams come true. The last time I saw him live was 6 years ago in Japan. I was 12 at that time and I can tell you that I enjoyed yesterday's show a lot more than the one in Tokyo (it was Summer Sonic Festival 2001 I remember. GGG tour). I was lucky to get the setlist from the cable guy at the Bulgarian show. :P

There wasn't really "pyro effects"... The whole thing was just about some kind of confetti during 'The Beutiful People'... Pieces of white paper coming out from something like a tube. That was all.

It's good to know I lost my voice at that concert for a reason...
This makes me feel realy bad, because one of the fans at that show jumped on stage and hugged Manson. Manson threw his Microphone at him and Rob Holiday tried to get the fan of the stage. I can't remember at the end of which song it happened but I was afraid Manson was going to stop the concert. He looked really pissed off.

Would kind of remind me of Trent's progress from With Teeth to Year Zero. For going so long without an album, both were decent efforts but nothing NEAR what either is capable of. Maybe being on tour and seeing the impact he still has will make him realize that he still has fans standing beside him. I wish Manson would address his fans sometime in the future. I forgot to mention how Manson sang. From now on I totally stop trusting others oppinions on how he can't sing live (including stupid low-quality youtube videos). He was perfect- as perfect as a singer could be for a live show. There was nothing wrong with his voice, furthermore he wasn't even tired looking and the whole band gave it's best.
