omg haha didn't mean to sound like a loser sorry! but yeah i did the alert thing but see even if you do that sometimes they send out the alerts late if at all... i did that for... i think it was for bauhaus and i forgot about it (i have alerts for a couple other bands too) and i bought tickets to the show when they went on sale, then that night i got the alert saying how bauhaus were playing in my area... i was like huh? um thanks?

so yeah i figure checking ticketmaster whenever i get a chance can't be a bad idea you never know :)

well i don't know about you guys but i love the verizon amp thats my favorite place for shows, the sound is great and so is the atmosphere... the pit sold out fast my friend and i are gonna try again to get pit tickets during the kroq presale and stuff which i doubt but still... but i know im pretty happy with the seats we got now the view is great and it's not far from the stage at all... plus since we got seats we can walk around and stuff before manson gets on stage... i can't wait!!!

btw the stage there is pretty cool since it's on a hill type of thing the stage lights look really good and they can have lots of pyro since it's outdoors :)

The KROQ presale didn't have any pit tickets. There are pit tickets for sale, but the price tag is $220 and more. I'm considering it but then again I can't really afford it. This sucks ass.

The venue tends to hold tickets until the day of the show. I got great seats at The Rock is Dead Tour due to this. I'm going to see what happens then. I'm only going to see them perform "Are You The Rabbit?" and "Antichrist Superstar" even if it is the shortened version.

Hey, just a heads up. I was at the Chicago show Monday night, and they were collecting the entire ticket and handing out a pink, paper wrist band. I'm not sure if they are doing that everywhere or not, but if so that means no souveniers (except the wrist band) for pit ticket holders, and no ticket for you to move up. Hopefully your buddy can work that show just in case.

i hate when they do that, though i do see why they would... they should just X it out with a permanent marker or something...

i just hope they pay the fine upfront so they could play after 11:00 or 11:30... i know they have a curfew cause of the townhouses around there, so that sucks if they do a shorter set for us... or worse, if they turn on the lights while they're still playing...

i don't think they let any chains or spikes in, all the times i've been there they have security frisking people they sorta just pat you down like whatever if you don't look suspicious so thats cool... but yeah for belts and chains i have seen them make people throw them away or walk back to their cars... no metal detectors thats about all i know about dress codes there...

i don't know if i understood you correctly but did you you mean you got crappy seats and want to sneak into the pit?

if so, im not sure you can do that at this venue, i've been there a lot of times and i know some people can be sneaky and get past security but they eventually end up back at the lawn cause security kicks them out... unless you know the security your chances don't look good... also the pit there is super small... if you want to "mosh" or whatever you are better off trying to start something in the lawn area, you'll have more room... good luck whatever you decide to do! :)

if you have seats it's a seat no bleachers or benches here thank god, i hate that... if you have lawn seats that section is all grass and it kinda like goes uphill and the hike to get to the lawn or terrace section sucks...

Ok, so delima delima. My friend's aren't going to see Slayer/Manson after all, and are going to see Eric Griffin who is playing with another band that night. Now, I can either go to Manson/Slayer, OR see Eric Griffin. But, if I am to go to Slayer/Manson, I am going to need a ride. I don't have a ticket yet because I wasn't planning on attending before I found out they were going to perform "Are You The Rabbit"? So . . . . if any one would like a quiet guest to tail with them in their car, let me know. Also, I have a cool way on getting majorly drunk before entering the venue. Let me know if any one can do this.

Just got home from the show, I saw some of the other set lists, but not many, they played the reflecting god and lunch box, which for me, was a pleasant surprise..not sure whether the two were done at the other shows. ..The crowd did appear to be mostly composed of slayer fans. All in all, I had a great time!

not in the pit it was really bad during slayer... like the slayer fans were annoying drunk disgusting sweaty guys... it was gross one threw up on my shoes... talk about not being able to hold your liquor... and after when they were putting the manson stuff up some of them were still shouting "slayer" all loud and manson fans were coming into the pit so everyone was getting annoyed... so i had to tap them on their shoulders and very politely ask them to please calm down cause it was over, one guy laughed and said "yeah huh?" and the other was like "but im excited it was a great show they need an encore" and i said "no they don't, its over ok?" and he laughed and was like "oh ok" and left the pit.... jeez some guys are like little kids i swear....

but at least they left and then people weren't as rude after... the manson fans were awesome :)

btw, bleeding through sounded generic to me... haha my friend and i were like is it over yet? and the guy saw us and mimicked us being bored so then we were like opps... and so we tried to be more polite after and not look bored... i thought that was funny...

all in all it was an amazing show... when my friend gets home i'll post the pictures and videos i took on her camera, i practically recorded the whole show, we were right up by manson and i got to touch his hand and he even held my hand at one point... it was quite exciting :)
and he would sing and look at the camera it was cool!

Slayer kicked ass. I was in all the pits on top and then went in the front, then went back on top because ironically we are not allwed to pit where the people with the "pit" tickets were. I met John 5, that was my highlight of the night because he is a guitar god. Manson was nothing special at all. I got kicked out at Disposable Teens because a security guard saw me throw a beet at Manson- which I didn't do. Why would I spend at least $12.50 a beer to throw it at Manson? Anyhow, I heard that it sucked anyways. Slayer ruled like always.

Damn, I got kicked out of tha last 3 shows that I really wanted to see. KMFDM, Skinny Puppy, now Manson. Next show.... Cannibal Corpse.

all i know is i hope i never see slayer again... i was honestly bored and annoyed, talk about repetitive and they just stood there the whole time.... yeah they aren't my thing :( at least i gave them a chance i watched their set right? i just didn't get how some people were into it....

yeah i think thats why i feel as if i went to a different show than all the people that said slayer was awesome... cause all of us by the rail were bored during their set! and yeah my friend paid way too much for pit tickets... but as you can tell it was so worth it!!!!!

Skold sucks? Skold is perfect for the marilyn manson band and if you don't like Skold then I can't understand how you can like manson. This tour seems to be really strong and the best liveshows marilyn manson as a band has done since, well I was gonna say grotesque burlesque, but I may go as long and say since GGAG- tour. Yeah President Dead, I did go into the ones on top. I would not even consider the one down below a pit. It was just so we could see Manson's poses a little closer. I swear everything that guy did was for a camera to catch.
I did a front flip into the fire, then a turned around and seen all these people doing it, I was cracking up. After that I ran down... casually bumped into Jon 5, then went into the "pit" to get kicked out for the most ridiculous reason there was. Slayer owned the place. My neck still hurts.

That's a retarded tattoo. That's the little stupid design he did when he signed my guitar at the signing he did at Hot Topic. I was all, "put God of fuck" because when I met slayer they signed whatever I told them to sign on my guitar- the bast damn guitar in the world thanks to them. Of course Kerry King wrote "Hail Satan" and I told Jeff to write "Jeusus Saves" and he said "fuck no!" He put "The End is Near." Manson just kind a looked at me and started scribbeling some heart-shaped thing down. I was considering pulling my guitar off the table but let him sign it anyways. He was lucky and should be very, very grateful. Knowing my luck if I did pull my guitar off the table I would be arrested for attempted murder and terror conspiracy. Someones Watching!

Noice pics, all in all it was a good show; aside the fact some drunk chick told me I was beautiful..which was akward. Apparently terrace is a place for chicks that don't wear underwear and like to bend over every now and than

I was at the concert on Friday in Irvine and I have to say that was one of the worst shows I have ever seen. Now maybe my opinion is this way because I've been going to Manson shows since the early 90s (I'm coming up on 30 now), but damn, the only thing that kept running thru my mind was "Going thru the motions". He's just going thru the motions. Maybe I remember Ozzfest 97 too vividly where he came on stage and blew the fucking speakers out with "Angel with the scabbed wings" right off the bat. The crowd at Ozzfest 97 had the same feeling as Friday's show where it seemed like Manson was the "underdog" with all the Pantera and Ozzy fans rooting against him. But when he came out barely dressed and that fucking Music hit loud and hard everyone had to respect him. I had friends at that show who couldn't stand Manson who were converted into Manson fans because he played so well. The song he started with on Friday was no way to start a set! It was so slow! I felt like I was watching a Kenny G concert. It hardly made me feel like I was at a rock concert, let alone a Marilyn Manson show.

I don't know.... I guess everything changes. Not that I'm faulting Manson for changing, after all I loved Mechanical Animals which was a huge change from ACSS, he just could have selected some better songs from the MANY that he has on his resume to play.

I'll probably continue to go to the shows in the hopes of hearing one or two gems out of the entire set, but that won't stop me from longing for the days when the whole show was full of life and energy and you felt like you were at the center of the world. Not leaving half way through a phoned in version of Beautiful People so you can beat the traffic.....which is what I did.

This was my first concert ever and I really enjoyed it. I just didn't like the smell of a bunch of cigarettes and when Slayer fans kept yelling, "SLAYERRR!!!!" when Manson was on. Bleeding Through was awesome, I like that mosh pit they started in the grass area. :P

I wish that Slayer would not just only kinda stand there during their performance and try to do atleast something else. I thought they were really good though. =]]

Manson, well, I absolutely loved Manson's performance. I was singing along to every song (not very loud though :P) and I screamed my lungs off whenever Manson started singing another song. Ahh I will never forget this. :DD
