I miss NM, and wish really I could be there for the show. :'( In fact, when the tour was announced, the first thing I did was check if they were going to NM. I wanted to try to head that way and maybe get to see them with my cousin. She and I got to see NIN together a few times, but she's never seen MM, and yeah... I would have loved to be there, but it wasn't in the cards this time. Anyways, have a blast! I loved the show in Concord on Thursday, so I think you're in for a treat. I was making great time and would've made it there in time for Slayer's set if I hadn't run into some trouble on the road. The highway was fucked up for over two hours and there was no way to turn around and take the previous exit. When I finally got up to the source of the hold-up, it was almost worth it, though. There was a fucking building in the middle of the road!!! O_o Actually, more like a giant, concrete-esque cube of a modular-building segment, but holy fuck. There were three cranes there doing what they could and having a hell of a time even budging it, too. One of 'em looked like it had died attempting to move it by itself before the other two came along. Sonofabitch. At least I was gonna catch the full Manson set, at least. Or so I thought. The rental car dashboard was set for the wrong time-zone, so I pulled into the parking lot expecting to hear the opening strains of "If I Was Your Vampire," but I felt like a gutted fucking fish when, instead, I heard "...I went to god just to see..." echoing off in the distance. FUCK!!!! I had to park about a billion yards from the venue and haul ass running through the parking lot, but I made it to the gates before "Antichrist Superstar" began... ...only to learn that the Will Call window was closed. FUCK!!!! So, after harrassing the hell out of the gate security fucks I ran up a hill outside of the venue and had a halfway decent view of the projection screens during "The Beautiful People." Like I said, "argh." Still, I phoned in some support from inside the venue and managed to get escorted in after everything was over. Got some confetti, chatted with Vrenna, Ginger, and Rob briefly, and saw Evan hangin' out with Vanessa (the Suicide Girl from the "Heart-Shaped Glasses..." video) -- two of the most beautifully gorgeous goddamned women in the world. So, at least I have that. :) chino0820 08-30-2007, 10:48 AM i went to the concert on alburquerque and it was very good, it started at 7:00 p.m. and it started with a group called bleedding trought(if i am correct) and they played very very good(i fall in love on the babe that was playing keyboards!!!),it lasted like 40 minutes and then like half hour after slayer came in gosh i never heard a song of them but i can tell you that they leaved their heart on the stage they played very good, i never heard a band playing so fucking good i love them, their show lasted like one hour and a half,THEN LIKE HALF HOUR Manson came in, i love him, this new concert is in a way very slow but very strong on the music, i love to see ginger on the drums and those new member of the band play very good, i was on the first section ,row V seat #15..... "Hmmm...I'll just keep an eye out for the heavily-tattooed Hispanic fella at the Albequerque Manson show, that should work, right? D'oh!!"
