Does anyone know, who have been to these venues before, if you can bring cameras into the following venues (which I hope to be attending):
Jul. 31 - Tower City Amphitheatre, Cleveland, OH
Aug. 11 - DTE Music Theatre, Detroit, MI
Aug. 13 - Allstate, Chicago, IL
If this is in the wrong section, I apologize, but I thought this would be the most reasonable place to put it.
It's pretty much an universal rule for all concerts that they aren't allowed.
But that doesn't stop some people from sneaking them in somehow.

That's not always the case. I went to some arena, right now I can't remember the name or city, for The Family Values Tour, and my camera was allowed in.

No. Cameras aren't always allowed. No cameras have been allowed on any Marilyn Manson tour. If you're in pit and have a cell cam, then you're cool. Other wise, no.

well, how tight is security? i mean theres no way you could sneak a dslr in, but do you really think they'd find a small point and shoot between your legs?

But if you have a girl with you, you can pretty much put almost anything in her purse. I don't know that security has the right to go through purses.

This is true, but as soon as they see a flash of a camera, they'll come after you.

It'll depend on the band and the staff that's working that night....some venues are very strick 'bout cameras, others just dont' care...i'll say, bring it but be cautious when you take pics...I've taken lots of pics at Manson concerts where security is very tight and got away, just don't bring a lot of attention...it's possible...there isn't a venue i can't snick a camera in...if i can do it, so can you...
also, i suggest a dig cam and dont' use flash...

Clubs are the only places that allow cameras, unless otherwise.

Have you been living in a hole the past decade? Manson never allows cameras, especially backstage. You can try and sneak them in, I have in the past and security took it.
