I called the box office at Hi Fi Buys today and the woman told me the tickets go on sale Saturday, June 2nd. She said 12pm, but I'm not too sure about that. (Isn't it always 10am?) It's still not listed on TicketBastard or LiveNation yet, so don't kill me if it changes or she was mistaken.
BTW, if the venue is a LiveNation venue, who will sell the tickets?
If you're planning on heading to this show and need info or want to comment, why don't we all keep it in this thread so we don't have to wade through loads of pages on the date/tickets threads? It'll make it a lot easier, trust me.
Looking forward to seeing you all!

I'm really conflicted on this... I've been a Manson fan for literally half my life (13 years), had a chance to see him live in '98 but sold the ticket for LSD (...) I'd love to go, but I'm moving to Australia in August and really need to save my money. oi

I'm planning on trying really hard to go to the Atlanta show, but the West Palm Beach and the San Antonio shows are my top priority, aside from the "local" midwest shows, of course.
You'd better show up if I do, EatYourGod.
:)
EDIT:

When I saw Manson in St. Louis on the Mechanical Animals Promo Tour in '98, I was actually tripping really hard on some great acid. I really, really enjoyed Manson's Drugs Speech, and that was when it was still in its "Jesus Christ invented L.S.D.!" stage. I remember thinking to myself something to the effect of "Oh, my god, it all makes sense!! Albert Hoffmann was Jesus Christ!!!"

Hey, all you people who are familiar with Atlanta:
Is Atlanta traffic really that bad? And is it really that dangerous? Is HiFi Buys in a bad area?
I've never left North Carolina driving on my own (been driving about ten months now), so you might understand that I'm a bit nervous about driving in Atlanta.
If someone could just tell me what to expect with everything concerning the area, I'd appreciate it.

Atlanta traffic can be awful, it reall just depends on what time you're in it. rush hour sucks, other than that, it's not so bad. It's only really dangerous if you're one of the one's driving like an idiot.
People say that lakewood is a "bad" area, but it's really not. "Bad" translates to black. People around these parts assume because an area is mostly populated by black people that it's bad.
I look forward to seeing all of you there.
BTW, Lakewood is a great venue.

Is that an open invite, betterof2evils? : ) My sister and I are heading down from Salisbury the morning of and are planning on doing the same thing you are. We could have one big caravan of crazy motherfuckers!
Hey, Art Of Flesh---where are you in NC? If you can get to Salisbury Saturday morning, or live nearby, I've got an empty backseat. Not a commentary on your driving skills, but I've been through Atlanta many times to see my brother and there are a few parts that have like 10 lanes going each way. The first time I hit that shit, I was white-knuckling it the whole way.
Atlanta traffic sucks anytime of the day. I've hit what seems like rush hour at 10pm before. And since the show's on a Saturday night? I plan on adding at least 30-60 minutes to whatever mapquest tells me.
Would be cool if we could plan to meetup in Charlotte and get some rooms and then all meetup for dinner with everyone else that's going before the show. $10 for a crappy pizza at the conxession stands? Or $5 for a Wendy's cheeseburger? No way.
I've been to HiFiBuys once before a few years ago and honestly, I don't remember what the neighborhood was like. The parking lot sucks though. I'm definitely going to be going for seats--no lawn for me. But for the last show we were sitting in the very last row of seats out under the stars and the view wasn't too too bad. But I want closer this time.
Oh, and by the way.... if our brother happens to be on the other side of the picket line? We will expect you to be on your best behavior and be nice to him. ; ) But only him though.

Zwillinge, you're too nice to invite me to ride with you. And I'd love to, except for the fact that my girlfriend and I might be headed back up to Myrtle Beach the next morning to catch the White Stripes.
I'll let you know if there is a change of plans. I think I'm about an hour and a half from Salisbury. You ever heard of Richmond County? It's one of the poorest counties in NC. More than likely, you've heard of Moore County, at least, which is about 35 minutes from me. Oprah and Sean Connery have a home there.
As far as my driving skills, I don't know how great I am, but I do know I'm pretty cautious. I'm hoping I end up handling it well.
I appreciate the kindness of everyone in response to my questions.

I actually had to look up Richmond County. Heh heh. I've only lived here, what? Eight years? I'm more familiar with cities than counties.
Well, the offer still stands and if the White Stripes show doesn't work out for you, we've got room for two. : ) We can still meet up in Charlotte to caravan if you guys wing it alone. And I'm sure you'll be fine. It's the other uncautious drivers that you need to worry about. You know, the ones who are familiar with the roads and make the highways their own personal autobahn.
