I'm considering it. The presale date is a day earlier than the TicketMaster date for the Houston show (which, I believe, just got pushed back?--I thought tickets were on sale this Saturday, for some reason . . .). I'm not sure if it'd be worth it -- and I'd really like to know if we can bring a friend along, or order multiple tickets before joining this ridiculous fanclub. :X

i'd assume it would be similar to joining the spiral (which i did for NIN pre-sales)
memebers were limited to buying 2 presale tix. i doubt this would be much different. best bet, make them join to and buy your tix at the same time.

Argh!!! This shit should be so fucking simple!

Perhaps they'll manage to come through for me and to get this shit fixed in time to actually let me use the fucking site before tickets go on-sale, but right now I'd advise that everyone steer fucking clear of this bullshit.

I hope someone will post on here when the presales are for the website. Has anyone emailed the site and asked if the early entry will apply for this tour? I think I'm not going to try to get in front of the pit when slayer is on. When slayer leaves the stage I am sure about half the slayer fans will too. Then I will make my way to the front.

Yeah, everything's taken care of now.

Just call 1 (877) 687-4277 and ask to speak with fan club department. You'll be on hold for a good, long while, but once you get a fan club rep. you'll be good to go. All they need is your info (user name, real name, e-mail addy, etc.) and they'll activate your account right away.

Sorry to hear 'bout that...good luck gettin' your tix.

I see where they talk about "early venue access". But it says at select shows or some such. I haven't seen anything solid that says early access is garunteed. Have you guys seen anything different?

For now, it's all about the pre-sales. If I can get in early, go backstage, win setlists (or whatever), then that's great, too, of course.

i keep debating this idea because tix go fast around here, but i keep thinking about when i bought pre-sales through the spiral. there's a li'l message to the effect of "since we save tickets in blocks for sale through the spiral that means you will get to be sitting with other members of the NIN fan club."

i'm not sure that i want to spend the concert flanked by slayer fan club members.

Coincidentally, I'll be buying four tickets per show, but I'm having a hard time navigating the Slatanic site. Could you possibly provide a direct quote from the page that states that?

Also, does anyone know whether buying from the fansite or buying from Ticketmaster affects the artists' profits? If I buy the tickets from TicketMaster, are the profits of the sales split? Conversely, if I buy the tickets from the Slayer site, do they get all or the majority of profits from these sales?

I ask only because I'd rather my money go to Manson than fuck him over out of my eagerness.

Generally speaking for most tours, I'm pretty sure the artists get a pre-determined flat rate payment per concert, so where you buy your tickets (or how many sell, etc.) won't affect how much Manson will get paid.

BTW does anyone know how their fanclub works? cause i know in some it's a general password and sometimes you could find then online but some... like the U2 fanclub have an individual password and you could only get two tickets...
