Great time to bring it up, I know. ;)
But, really, several times over the last few days I've been unable to reach the 'phant for extended stretches (usually about half an hour), due to Internet Explorer being "unable to connect to the server."
Dork that I am, I've called other 'phants while its goin' on and they've had no trouble at the same time...any ideas what's up?
Just curious.
Well, that, and it drives me goddamned crazy.

Things have been worse lately. Constant 404 bullshit. Oh wells, gives me time to grab some cheetos!

Something odd happened yesterday, but I've had no problems whatsoever from the server. It depends on the time of day you view the site. If you're on most after midnight EST you might see some slowdowns or a few 404s because that is the normal time maintenance is done every night. Server software upgrades are handled, nightly backups, stuff like that.

Thanks for the response...I do get on pretty late usually, so that explains the (very infrequent) problems at those times.
But, for instance, the most recent times I wasn't able to get on the 'phant were from 3 to 6 in the afternoon (Central Time Zone).
So I guess there was something else amiss.
I've almost never experienced any problems like this until about the last week or so, when it seemed to happed at least twice a day.
So I just figured something must be up.
Is IE really that bad, by the way? I'm limited to what my roommate's computer already has on it,
