Never take all of the strings off. The King 07-07-2006, 10:52 PM Pay someone to do it or learn how to play the maracas instead. blood_soaked 07-08-2006, 12:08 AM The first thing you want to do is get some strings. Then you restring the guitar. Viola! tetragrammutate 07-08-2006, 12:33 AM Originally posted by blood_soaked The first thing you want to do is get some strings. Then you restring the guitar. Viola! Yeah, it isn't really much more complicated than that. Find out what kind of gauge you're using on the strings, if it's Extra-light, light, medium and well you get the picture. If there's a notable difference in the gauge you're using when you change one string, it won't sound very full or right. blak-widow 07-08-2006, 12:42 AM just go to someone who knows how to re-string gutairs and say "um can you please help me re-string my gutiar?" instrument shops have smart people that would be willing to help vht 07-08-2006, 01:35 AM Originally posted by MyOmega You've had it for 2 years and you JUST broke you first string!?!
