"Ohio born Brian Warner aka Marilyn Manson is to make his directorial debut with the film "Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll". In the film which will soon begin production in France, Manson plays the role of Carroll, most famous for his novel "Alice In Wonderland". The film, with a budget of $4.2 million, also stars Lily Cole (who will be playing Alice). Due to budget problems as the rumours seem to indicate, the film is set to feature special effects using a magician, rather than using high-tech computer-generated imagery. Initially planned for distribution through his website Manson soon after decided to go for a conventional cinema release in mid-2007 alongside a soundtrack drawing upon original music for the film and previously unreleased songs. Also in the picture for the film might be Johnny Depp who Manson approached, but so far Depp was not convinced by the project. "

I can't stand ignorant fucking journalists that twist words and try to make people look stupid. What's worse is that they included his mugshot. I hope someone chops off their fingers.

It's sad when MTV.com is more well-researched. This was a truly horrible article. But cool image kinda, I still don't know what it's in reference to.

The only research he did was to lift it all off the Phantasmagoria wikipedia entry.

I doubt lack of research was the problem. It's obvious the writer doesn't think too highly of Manson.

the article was horrible, but i'm confused as to why that picture is with it. i've seen the doll in that picture before, somewhere in a book. it seems to have no corelation at all.

Think about it. If you've seen the exact same news here 4-5 times in the last month... IT'S NOT NEWS

Haha.. I wrote that. Or at least rewrote it. I'll admit its shoddy, didnt bother doing a great job on it because of how subject to change the information is.
