The drinking club died. which was a big shame, i tried to resurrect it a few times but it couldn't hold.

So now it has been incorperated with drug using/abusing too.

i just wanted to agree that pot kinda sucks ass now to me, i smoked it most days for about 6 years straight, only going a few breaks trying to quit from time to time, for about a fortnight at most.

but now ive only has one-two small sessions in like 4-5 months, & i feel much better for it..

and i still drink alot of bourbon - mmmmmm *drools*
& lately im onto drinking more vodka & absinthe, which is Sweet.

i always had a big thing for wanting to try acid & eventually did it twice, both times were incredibly disappointing,
but mushroom trips are teh shit.

People on the boards will tell you to buy Sebor or Lafeé, because Manson drinks it. If they knew anything about Absinthe though, they'd reccomend otherwise. With the exception of a couple of their lesser known products, both companies are far too mainstream to make anything decent, and make mediocre absinthes.

As for whether or not you'll find it in your store, it depends on where in the world you live.

I half agree with you here. I think the most popular store bought products are crap, but the high end Sebor's (Sebor 65 for example) are really top notch, even if they are mass produced.


Homemade takes time, but it is the most fantastic high/drunk-ish sort of state.


Homemade will make you drunker, but it will taste like shit. Good absinthe is not bitter. It provides a smooth, aninse flavor to it. As for the chemical reactions, maybe yes, maybe no, depending on how much wormwood you threw in, and how long you let the absinthe set for.

Well, in the community I associate with, many people try their hand at making Absinthe. I have had my fair share of good/bad. But the stuff that is well made tastes great... well, i find it preferrable to the storebought, including the high end ones. But Absinthe poorly made tastes like shit.
