I think most of my family (like aunts and uncles) don't like Manson at all because they don't know anything about him. And one of my aunts is really religious and she's heard things that aren't true so she especially probably doesn't like him at all. (Once, when my mom and I were at her house and she left for a few minutes we went sneaking through her office closet to find a newsletter from the church where she works to make a copy of a Manson article they had in there, lol) My mom never cared that I listened to Manson or went to his shows, although she doesn't like him much. She's really religious, but I don't think that necessarily has much to do with it. She likes two songs for some reason (Beautiful People and The Dope Show) and she's seen him live once and met him once. She said she didn't like the show at all but he was really nice and she likes him off stage. My best friend loves Manson. My other close friends (there's about 10 of them) aren't fans but they know he's a regular guy and aren't scared of him or anything like that; they're just into different music.

Cousins - i have one cousin who im fairly close to who's a big of a homie, but i dont think she really cares, haven't really seen her since i got big into Manson, so she's in for a shock next time she sees me. Other cousins/uncles don't really see often, so i dont know if they know. I remember my mother talking to my Aunt and me liking manson got into the conversation (it was either online or over the phone) and she was apparntly shocked and irked by it. But who cares, it's my life.

I remember when I was in High School, people I knew was into rap and all that crap. I knew people who liked manson though to. But the ones who were into rap were actually interested in hearing about him. When I was at Katharine Gibbs again I knew people who liked rap but heard some of my manson albums and liked it. They would even talk to me about him,. one time when i was in my sculpting class I made a figure of manson and we were aloud to listen to our cds while we were working & this one kid wanted to listen to a manson song and he was like this guy can give you alot of ideas of what to make just by listening to his music. Hrmm...basically i just told him he had no idea what he was talking about, and that just because i own a lot of manson CD's doesn't mean it's all i listen to, and that i listen to a lot of Rock/Metal/Industrial music, and then continued to tell him how he doesn't even know what he's talking about and has no idea about his kids. So, basically just name other bands that you like (like London After Midnight, two of my friends are huge fans of them, and i assume you are) and if she wants further proof, just show her your CD collection and prove that it doesn't purely consist of manson. she'll feel like a dumbass in no time.

4 of my friends like his music and 2 of them are fans. I was the first one of us who liked MM, and because of me they now like MM too, so I take all the credit for that!! :D And I´m so proud of them, my little "paskaperseet", I love them all!
Even my girlfriend said she likes Manson´s voice.
Other my friends hate him, in everyway they can, although they haven´t even listened his music much.. one of them said once: "why would you want to see some freak shouting and screaming naked in stage, and masturbating at the same time??"

I've known a few friends to like Manson to a certain degree, and I've only found that out recently. Never really asked or brought up the topic. My psychology teacher is quite a big fan though, I remember a week back we spent the lesson watching a documentary on Manson and having a quick discussion after - he went down pretty well.

But really, unless it's some bizarre or extreme reaction it never really matters who we know who are fans or not.
