I just got done listening to Razorblade Romance in my car getting back from work. God,these guys are great!!! Anyone like them?

Razorblade Romance is a great thing, but as HIM has gone forward, they've really gotten boring. I hope things change with their next release.

Yeah, they are a wonderful band when you get down to it, and I only have four of the albums. I agree that they were expensive as fuck because three of'em I had to get by mail order, two were imports, hahaha. It's worth it though, I think so. Good music is hard to come by.

They're OK... They're great live, the drunker Ville gets the more entertaining he is (anyone who stops singing mid-song to point out that a member of the audience has a "really funny mouth" is alright by me...).
I saw them when Cathedral were supporting them, which was odd because there were only two people in the crowd who seemed to have heard them before (me and a fat ginger guy with a mullet and a Manowar shirt), so while I was really getting into it everyone stood next to me was just, well, stood there. I was headbanging along to Vampire Sun and a woman asked if me I back-combed my hair right in the middle of the song!

HIM plays love rock. And ONLY songs about love. The music can be a litttle different, but it's the same: verse, chorus, verse, chorus, solo. chorus kinda deal.

Ville Valo is my sex god right now, he's not perfect like Manson you know, but I can trip with his music all the way. My favorite albums are Razorblade Romance, Love Metal and Dark Light. They have more than ten years in the music scene, but oficially they became international since Love Metal.

In the US they became popular in a way by Bam Margera and Bloodhound Gang's frontman. From there on it was just the heartagram craze. Their music is easy to listen, easy to love, but if it's not really your thing it's easy to hate. Which kinda makes me wonder, isn't Manson too easy to love and to hate?... :( ):

Dark Light has it's moments, but it's their weakest effort to date. My favorite is Brilliant Shadows, Deep Highlights, but I seem to be the dark horse when it comes to that-most either say Greatest Love Songs or Razorblade Romance.

Ville IS divine, but I'm happy just seeing him in videos and hearing him slip into my ears.
