Then, when John 5 replaced him, I didn't really care one way or another because of my dislike for Zim Zum.
Mark Chaussee is the new guy on the block, and he is inheriting a fanbase that misses John 5. It's his job to win the fans over, and if he doesn't do that, he'll continue to get negative feedback. Fans don't take kindly to a new guitarist who doesn't fill the shoes of the guy they're replacing.
I don't have an opinion about Mark Chaussee one way or another since I haven't seen him play live yet, and expect to see the great show the band has always delivered in the past.
I don't miss John5. I mean I understand that he's gone and that's the life of being a Marilyn Manson guitarist. I will say he did seem to have the best relationship with the band than any other Manson guitarist had.
Also, Daisy wasn't kicked out. He left the band.

I haven't heard the guy yet, but what a lot of people don't seem to be thinking about is that perhaps his monitors are messing up too. If his monitors are messing up, if they're in-ear or standard stage, it's going to be hard to keep time.
It's like people are saying, "Marilyn messed up a few times because his monitors were messing up and Pogo messed up a few times too because of sound troubles. But man, that Mark guy just sucks. He kept messing up."

True 6, and Lydia. I would be intimidated if I were in
his shoes. If I got called on to take the role going
head on into a best of tour, I would probably flip my
shit. Out of both boyish joy, and unsupressable fear.
hehe
I have been around for the ages too, but it never really
bothered me when a guitarist left, except for 5. However
it isn't Marks fault, and I think we should all be mature
enough now to recognize that.
Flipping him off , spitting at him, shouting obscenities at
him, that is all very disrespectful. I just feel bad for the
guy.It really kind of pisses me off, so when I see him.
I'll be sure to give him all the best wishes and support
that he deserves. You don't treat anyone like that.
That is straight up bullshit, and you little punks know it too.
He will probably do better, and get more comfortable in
the group as the tour marches on. But pay attention to
the show. Don't waste your money on doing a live critique.
Just take it all in, from all sides.

I think that if Manson thinks he's good for the job, Then he must be. Manson knows what he's doing, And he's been through enough guitarists to not pick a shitty one. I'm goin to the TO show on the 15th, So i'll be able to see how well/awful he plays then. But yea, I'm guessing a year from now if he's still in the band, Everyone will love him.

You just bitch in every thread remotley linked to him, stating your opinion as if it were FACT, which it is not. You don't say, "I belive he will be in the band for a short while", but instead you say "he's just a filler" as if you have all the knowlage about Manson in your back pocket.
You are close-minded in the sense that you can't even set aside your OWN opinion to see if he is indeed good or not. At first, I laughed when I heard who was playing. But then I saw that video, and my passion for Manson flared again. He was rocking hard, playing good, and it ruled. Regardless of what your opinion is, don't knock him as some lesser member. He wanted to be in Marilyn Manson, and that's enough passion for me to give him a shot. So quit your whinning and look at the music. Listen to him play when or if you get to see him. If you go into the show thinking "oh great, some REPLACEMENT", that's all you'll be able to see. But if you go in, just letting the band speak for itself, maybe, just maybe you'll be able to accept him.

So Tim Skold is just a temp? I don't recall him switching to a
stage name. From now on, the only credible sources on the
abilitys of Mark , are the ones that come from the people that
have gone to a show, and have heard him play.
Anyone else, with all respect Timothy, really needs to keep
their "opinions" to themselves.Unless it is some sort of
foresight, or something other than his perferomance abilitys.
It is quite simple, and I will keep it simple just to avoid drama.
1. If you haven't seen him play. Then you CANNOT say
that he butchers any songs.
If you were that concerend about the quality of guitars for
MM. Why didn't you , a fellow guitarist, persue an avenue
to audition?

Yes, I will admit I'm a guitar player and I'm a little hard on the guy but so waht. It's life, everyone has a different opinion. Either you learn to live with it or just give up. I thought Skold was more than compitent to fill Twiggy's shoes in the studio, but it took him a long time to get comfortable live. Not until the Fall 2003 tour did he become comfortable, before that Skold fucking sucked live. He didn't do a god damn thing, just sat there, bobbed his head a little, grinded on his bass a little, and would walk around a little. But for the most part, he was stationary the whole time, just playing the notes and that's it. From what I've heard, Mark is at least lively, and from The Fight Song video, he didn't look too bad. I actually thought the headbanging was hilarious, something I haven't seen live in Manson before. (I take that back...Zim Zum)

Seeing Mark play live, yea, i agree, he still doesn't look completely comfortable onstage. But he was trying his best to get into it, and he even was prancing around with Timmy during Antichrist. He was fun with his head banging antics. But he has so much potential, and i don't think he is entirely ready to explore it yet, not until he's comfortable.

For a man from the Twin Cities, he sure did his best to run by the crowds outside the show. I even saluted him and he just ran on by. Meh.
Mark isn't... that bad. Now, he did fumble up two parts (I want to say during Sweet Dreams and Lunchbox, but I might be wrong...) at the Minneapolis show. I remember that when he fumbled up two notes in a row the lady infront of me turned to her boyfriend in the spirit of 'the hell? did you just hear that?'.
I hope he either grows into the shoes (I give him a ton of leanency seeing as how he's basically 'just' gotten into the parade) or that he's a temporary replacement. Meh? Feh.

Mark isn't a bad player, per se, but I just don't like his sound. He seems to always have this autowah on no matter what he's playing, and it ruins the heavy songs. I like the way he plays The Nobodies, Dope Show, and Get Your Gunn, but that's about it.

meh, I saw them im myrtle beach in december 2004. the only fuck up that stands out i my mind was actually during personal jesus. during the main riff, he forgot to move into the "higher" part once or twice. I did type that up with a note description, but I figured not everyone (non-musical types) would know what i was talking about. Other than that he was fairly cool. i heard earlier in the tour he was stiff as a board, but he seemed to have loosed up a little bit by this point. I met him, tim and chris before the show. thim and chris were really cool guys, chris was a bit of a dick though.

When i saw him he played all songs with agility, was a metalhead (AND I FUCKING LOVE THAT),plus I like more his sounds, wish only they would be heavier and crude. He sometimes use pinch harmonics that ok arent' in the original songs ,but that's the way to make things more metal and rock and DIRTY (like Zim Zum did).I like him.
